Hollywood has never been the same since the passing of these iconic stars. But what haunts us most are the bizarre details behind the loss of some of these celebrities. From the betrayal of loved ones to suspicious accidents, we can't help but wonder whether we'll ever know the truth. So grab those Kleenex before we take a closer look at these mysterious circumstances.
Tupac Shakur
In 1996, poet, rapper, actor, and activist Tupac Shakur passed away after being the victim of a drive-by in Las Vegas. It wasn't the first attempt on his life, as Shakur had claimed that New York rappers previously tried to kill him when the East Coast / West Coast rap rivalry got out of hand two years prior. Then, six months after 2Pac died, Notorious B.I.G. was murdered in LA in what's believed to be a revenge slaying.
Unfortunately, many inspirational Black civil rights activists and musicians––including MLK, Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, and Sam Cooke, to name just a few––were murdered when they became powerful. This has led some to believe in conspiracy theories behind Tupac's passing, including that the government murdered Tupac.
Heath Ledger
On January 22nd, 2008, Heath Ledger passed away from an accidental overdose. He was 28. Almost before his body was cold, the rumor mill started. Had he taken his own life after struggling with substance addiction and splitting up with Michele Williams? Had playing The Joker tipped him over the edge? Well, Heath had been found unresponsive in his bed by his massage therapist. According to police, instead of immediately dialing 9-1-1, she called Heath's friend, Mary-Kate Olsen. From California, Olsen dispatched her NYC security guard to the scene, who arrived at the same time as the paramedics.
Then, in August 2008, Mary-Kate's attorney issued a statement saying, "Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them." No one knows what really happened, but something fishy went down.
Brittany Murphy
In December 2009, Clueless actress Brittany Murphy collapsed in the bathroom of her Hollywood Hills home after having been ill for weeks. Firefighters tried to resuscitate her, but she died at the hospital from cardiac arrest. An autopsy revealed the 32-year-old had died of pneumonia, anemia, and elevated levels of multiple over-the-counter drugs. Then things took a bizarre turn when news surfaced that her husband Simon Monjack had initially refused an autopsy.
Monjack cited religious reasons but then told Larry King: "This pristine body that was curvy in all the right places with skin like silk. How could I say in front of her mother, 'cut her up?'" And if you think that's weird, wait for what happened next.
Whitney Houston
On February 11th, 2012, Whitney Houston was found unconscious and submerged in the bathtub at her hotel suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles. Beverly Hills paramedics performed CPR, but it was too late; the beloved songstress was already gone. She had died from drowning due to a lethal combination of substances and heart disease. The coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death, but the full report reveals many oddities you may not know.
For example, Whitney was found dead wearing her wig. Who wears their wig in the bath? She also had abrasions on her forehead and the bridge of her nose, and her driver's license was missing from her purse. The coroner also noted that "the majority of her prescription medication bottles had been removed from a brown bag and placed on top of that same table." It was almost as if someone was trying to make it look like an accident.
Bobbi Kristina Brown
In January 2015, three years after her mother, Whitney Houston, died in mysterious circumstances in a bathtub, Bobbi Kristina Brown was also found facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta, Georgia, home. The 22-year-old reality TV star was kept in a medically induced coma and was eventually moved to hospice care, where she died in July. Although Bobbi died from Lobar pneumonia, the coroner ruled the "underlying cause" of death as "immersion associated with drug intoxication."
The stranger thing was, according to a police spokesman, Brown had been alive and breathing after being transported to the hospital, and doctors initially found zero evidence to indicate drugs or alcohol had caused the incident. Were Whitney and Bobbi murdered? If so, who stood to gain from their deaths?
Naya Rivera
On July 8th, 2020, insanely-popular Glee actress Naya Rivera was declared missing after hiring a pontoon boat on Lake Piru near Los Angeles, California. Later that afternoon, her 4-year-old son, Josey, was found asleep on the boat by a fellow sailor alongside Rivera's purse, wallet, and ID. After a six-day search, Ventura County Sheriff's Department announced they had recovered Rivera's body, and her family, friends, fans, and colleagues went into mourning.
It's believed she and her son had been swimming when strong winds created a rip current. Naya had used the last of her strength to get Josey back onto the boat before she succumbed to the water. Whatever happened on Lake Piru, Naya died a hero.
Cory Monteith
Naya Rivera wasn't the only Glee star to pass away in mysterious circumstances. On July 13th, 2013, Canadian actor and musician Cory Monteith––most famous for playing Finn Hudson and dating co-star Lea Michele––was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room from a toxic combination of substances. Since his early teens, Monteith had struggled with substance problems and had checked into rehab for the third time four months before his demise.
In a spooky coincidence, Monteith's close friend, Naya Rivera, was found dead on the seventh anniversary of his death. Some say that Glee was cursed because, sadly, these aren't the only deaths connected to the show.
Simon Monjack
Just five months after Brittany's passing, her husband, Simon Monjack, died in equally suspicious circumstances. The 40-year-old's autopsy revealed the same cause of death––acute pneumonia and severe anemia, and elevated prescription drug levels. The odds of a couple dying months apart from the exact same cause are a million-to-one. Brittany Murphy's mother blames toxic mold in the house, while her father believes they were poisoned. Her father's independent toxicology report revealed ten heavy metals in Brittany's hair, suggesting foul play.
But who would want to kill Brittany and Simon? The documentary Top Priority: The Terror Within alleged the couple was on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security watch list after allegedly supporting Julia Davis, a former Customs and Border Protection agent turned whistleblower.
Amy Winehouse
In July 2011, Amy Winehouse died in her north-London home from accidental alcohol poisoning. The saddest part is that the uber-talented, sassy soul singer had, until recently, kicked most of her bad habits. Her brother, Alex, blames her death on something else, pointing to her issues with food, saying: "She would have died eventually, the way she was going."
Amy died aged 27, joining a long line of musicians in The 27 Club. These include Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Robert Johnson, and possibly Richey Edwards.
Chadwick Boseman
As much of a shock as it was to the world, there was nothing mysterious or suspicious about Chadwick Boseman's death in August 2020. But what was strange was how the beloved actor had kept his colon cancer a secret for four years before he passed away. That means he made Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Da 5 Bloods, and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom between countless surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy.
The 43-year-old actor passed away in his home, with his wife and family by his side, and the first the world knew about it was when his family announced his death. Of course, keeping his illness a secret was his choice alone, but it was unusual. We miss you, Chadwick. Wakanda Forever!
Mark Salling
Mark Salling was another actor and musician taken by the Glee curse. Best known for playing Noah "Puck" Puckerman, Salling was found to have passed away in Los Angeles on January 30th, 2018. He took his own life because, following a tip-off to the police from one of his ex-girlfriends back in 2015, he had been arrested at his LA home for possessing 50,000 thousand indecent photos and 600 illegal videos.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in 2017 but seemingly couldn't face four to seven years in jail and passed away a couple of months before he was scheduled to be sentenced.
Richey Edwards
Richey Edwards was an enigmatic musician with the 1990s Welsh rock band The Manic Street Preachers. While his band later went on to mainstream chart success, Richey remained a true punk rocker. On February 1st, 1995, Richey disappeared, and it's widely believed that he jumped from the Severn Bridge. He had withdrawn £2,800 from his bank and abandoned his car close to the well-known suicide site, but his body was never found.
Many say he faked his death to escape fame. For example, a cab driver claims he drove Richey around his hometown a week later. In the years since, Edwards has also allegedly been spotted in Goa, India, and on the Spanish islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, while now some believe he may have traveled to Israel.
Princess Diana
Lady Diana Spencer was the fairytale princess the Royal Family always wanted. She married Prince Charles in 1981, and her love and compassion earned her the nickname 'The People's Princess.' But the marriage soon went downhill, and they divorced in 1996. Because of her relationship with the Egyptian heir, Dodi Fayed, Diana expressed fears she would be murdered in a staged car crash. Sure enough, she and Dodi were killed in a car accident in a Parisian tunnel on August 31st, 1997. The world mourned.
There are as many conspiracy theories surrounding Diana's death as JFK's assassination. But the majority of them ask whether the Royal Family conspired to have her killed by the British intelligence services.
Phil Hartman
Phil Hartman was a comedian and actor, most famous for Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons. After a "heated" argument in the early hours of May 28th, 1998, his wife Brynn Omdahl fatally shot him multiple times as he slept. Brynn, who had been drinking and taking other substances, then drove to Ron Douglas' home and confessed to killing Phil, but her friend didn't believe her.
Upon seeing Phil's dead body, Ron called 9-1-1. The cops arrived and escorted him and the Hartmans' two children away. By this time, Brynn had locked herself in the bedroom, and another shot rang out before long.
Kobe Bryant
L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in January 2020. The 41-year-old, 18-time NBA All-Star had been traveling in his private helicopter when the pilot was told he was "flying too low" to be tracked by radar. Experiencing thick fog, the helicopter climbed rapidly to 2,000 feet and turned south towards the mountains, flying at a speed of 185 mph. Minutes later, the aircraft crashed into the side of a mountain in Calabasas, about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Kobe's 13-year-old daughter Gianna, six other passengers, and the pilot were also killed. A year later, an NTSB investigation declared the pilot was probably disoriented after flying into thick clouds, ignored his training, and violated federal regulations.
Kurt Cobain
Lead singer of iconic 1990s Grunge band Nirvana died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 5th, 1994. Or did he? To this day, many conspiracy theories surround his death. The anguished emo lyricist, singer, and guitarist had certainly battled depression, addiction, and crippling back pain, for which he took morphine. Yet, despite borrowing a gun from a friend and leaving a suicide note, fans maintain he was murdered.
Some say government officials did it. In contrast, one famous book points the finger at his partner Courtney Love as the cause for Kurt joining The 27 Club.
JonBenét Ramsey
Six-year-old Colorado beauty pageant winner JonBenét Ramsey was reported missing by her parents on Christmas Day, 1996. A long, rambling ransom note had been left demanding $118,000 for her return. Eight hours later, her body was found in Ramsey's basement. She'd been strangled. All the evidence pointed toward JonBenét's family as the culprits. But in 2003, DNA from an unknown male showed up, prompting a written apology from the District Attorney.
Her mother, Patsy, died in 2006, and the case has never been solved. In 2017, the documentary Casting JonBenét cast new light on the murder but didn't go into the conspiracy theory that claims JonBenét is alive and well and grew up to become pop star Katy Perry.
Anna Nicole Smith
Anna Nicole Smith shot to fame for being Playboy's Playmate of the Year and as bride and widow of 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall. The former model and reality TV star died in February 2007 in a Hollywood, Florida, hotel room from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. Before she died, Anna Nicole had been the focus of renewed press scrutiny after the death of her son, Daniel, and the paternity and custody battle over her newborn daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead.
Sadly, Anna Nicole died just five months after her 20-year-old son. Both died from accidental overdoses. If that all sounds like the recipe for a homicide, she never received Marshall's billions, and her daughter Dannielynn was the sole heir to her $1 million estates.
Chris Cornell
Chris Cornell was the lead singer of Soundgarden and rock supergroup Audioslave. Along with Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder, and others, he was instrumental in creating Grunge rock in the late 1980s. After kicking his addiction, he seemed to have turned his life around. With the monkey off his back, he had it all; he was a rock god with the voice of an angel, he had a beautiful, supporting wife and three loving children.
One night in 2017, after performing with Soundgarden in Detroit, he passed away by suicide, sending his fans into shock.
Michael Jackson
King of Pop Michael Jackson was found dead under mysterious circumstances. He had died of acute Propofol toxicity, a powerful anesthetic his physician had been giving him in the months before his death. Eventually, Dr. Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and went to jail. However, several bizarre conspiracy theories surround MJ's death. His daughter, Paris, believes The Illuminati murdered him. Weeks before he died, Jackson wrote a note saying ''They are trying to murder me."
Some allege Jackson died two years before, others some say he escaped to Mexico, while some even say an impersonator replaced him at London's O2 Arena because he looked too tall and his fingers were too stumpy!
Natalie Wood
Natalie Wood appeared in Miracle on 34th Street, Rebel Without a Cause, The Searchers, and West Side Story. Robert Wagner was a handsome Hollywood heartthrob most famous for Hart to Hart, and when they met, it was murder! In November 1981, after a night of drinking and arguing, the couple––and Christopher Walken––returned to Wagner's yacht off Santa Catalina Island. The next morning, Natalie's body was recovered from the water. She had drowned. The autopsy revealed bruises on her body, arms, and cheek. Her husband maintains she was not with him when he went to bed.
The events surrounding her death have always been murky, and many believe her husband may have pushed her. In 2018––almost 40 years after her death––police reopened the case and named Robert Wagner as a person of interest in the ongoing investigation.
Bruce Lee
In 1973, martial artist Bruce Lee was filming Game of Death in Hong Kong when––before meeting James Bond (no, really, he was due to have dinner with George Lazenby)––he developed a headache, took an Equagesic painkiller, and went to lie down. When he couldn't be roused, a doctor was called, but Bruce was announced gone at the hospital. The official version is that he was allergic to Equagesicyet, yet many bizarre theories abound.
Some say Bruce was murdered by a secret, unnoticed punch from Hong Kong elders for giving away Kung Fu secrets and that he died of internal bleeding weeks later. Others say Chinese Triads murdered him. But the one with the most traction is the idea that a demon cursed Bruce Lee and his family. And what happened later only made that idea more popular.
Brandon Lee
Twenty years after the Lee Family Demon took Bruce, it was back. Bruce's 28-year-old son Brandon was also an actor and martial artist and was playing Eric Drevin in the dark fantasy film The Crow (1994). While filming a scene in which his character is shot in the chest, an actor pointed the (real) gun and pulled the trigger. An improperly loaded dummy bullet struck Brandon in the abdomen, and he fell backward, unconscious.
When the crew eventually realized he'd been shot, Brandon was rushed to the hospital but announced dead after six hours of surgery. The curse had taken both father and son just as they won their breakthrough roles.
David Carradine
David Carradine was most famous for his role in the 1970s TV show Kung Fu. Later, he worked in B-movies until a mini-resurgence after Quentin Tarantino cast him in Kill Bill. In June 2009, he was shooting a film called Stretch in Thailand but was found naked and passed away in his Bangkok hotel room. At first, the 72-year-old's death looked like suicide, but things soon took a turn for the strange.
Eventually, his death was found to be autoerotic asphyxiation gone wrong. His ex-wives confirmed his “deviant sexual behavior” but went on to say they believed his death was an assassination.
Aaron Hernandez
NFL fans were shocked when New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was arrested for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. In 2015, he was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life. While on trial, he was also indicted for a 2012 double homicide. On April 19th, 2017, mere days after being acquitted of the 2012 murders, Hernandez was found dead in his cell, having taken his own life.
Taking all those hits led to "the most severe case of CTE medically seen" in a 27-year-old. A scientist in the Netflix documentary; Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez even compares his brain to an Alzheimer's patient.
Prince
Prince Rogers Nelson might only have stood a smidgeon over five feet tall, but The Purple One was a living god to his fans. For three decades, the eccentric Minneapolis-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist graced our ears, hearts, and souls. But then, on April 21st, 2016, the 57-year-old died of an accidental overdose in his Paisley Park estate. The world went into mourning, and nations lit landmarks in his unmistakable purple.
Strangely enough, during his last public appearance, Prince said, “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.” Two years after his passing, Prince’s family filed a lawsuit against his doctor, saying he was negligent in counseling Prince for his addiction.
Bonnie Lee Bakley
Bonny Lee Bakley was a ten-times married celebrity stalker who pursued Jerry Lee Lewis, Dean Martin, and Gary Busey. When she didn't marry them, she went after Marlon Brando's son Christian, saying he was the father of her child. But when a paternity test revealed actor Robert Blake as the father, the 67-year-old begrudgingly agreed to marry her in November 2000. Five months later, Bonnie Lee Bakley was shot in the head as she waited in the car for her husband outside an LA restaurant.
In 2005, Robert Blake was found not guilty of her murder or soliciting a former stuntman to murder her. But, in 2005, Blake was found liable for the wrongful death of his wife in a civil trial and ordered to pay her family $30 million (which he didn't have).
Robin Williams
From his comic escapades as the eccentric alien Mork and Mindy to his compassionate therapist in Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams was one of the world's best-loved comedic actors. His zany comedy would light up the room, always full of boundless energy, making him one of the last people you'd expect to take their own life. But, sadly, that's exactly what happened in 2014. The 63-year-old entertainer hanged himself after being diagnosed with diffuse Lewy body dementia and falling into a dark depression.
Robin's death may not have been mysterious, but it was a mental health wake-up for us all. It reminded us that even the most fun-loving people could be in dark and overwhelming places.
Adrienne Shelley
One shocking celebrity death you may not know about is Adrienne Shelley's murder. She was an American actress, director, and screenwriter who wrote, directed, and co-starred in Waitress (2007), which became a Broadway show. On November 1st, 2006, Adrienne was found hanging in the shower of her West Village studio apartment. At first, police believed her death to be a suicide, but her husband insisted she could never have taken her own life.
A re-examination of the bathroom scene revealed a suspicious shoe print. Soon, police arrested 19-year-old Ecuadorian construction worker Diego Pillco, and he confessed to the slaying before making it look as if Shelly had hanged herself.
Avicii
World-famous Swedish DJ, musician, songwriter, remixer, and record producer Tim Bergling aka Avicii was found dead in Muscat, Oman, on April 20th, 2018. He was just 28. The Grammy-nominated artist had retired in 2016 due to stress and health issues, including acute pancreatitis. One day before his death, a friend reached out to his father to express concerns about Tim's declining mental health, but it was too late.
The Omani police force stated they found "no criminal suspicion" or evidence of foul play in the DJ's death. Later, celebrity gossip website TMZ reported that Tim had taken his own life.
Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds
Thanks to her turn as Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher was one of the most recognizable faces in the galaxy. Star Wars: The Force Awakens had opened a week before Christmas, and all was well. But on December 23rd, 2016, fifteen minutes before her London-LA flight landed, a passenger noticed the 60-year-old actress had stopped breathing. Another passenger saved her life with CPR. Four days later, she died of a sudden cardiac arrest in the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
The next day, Carrie's mother, Debbie Reynolds––who was almost as famous as her daughter from films like Singin' in the Rain––passed away following a severe stroke. She was 84 years young.
Misty Upham
Native American actress Misty Upham found fame after her award-winning performance in the 2008 film Frozen River. On October 5th, 2014, she left her sister's apartment on the Muckleshoot Reservation in Auburn, Washington, never to be seen alive again. Her family reported her disappearance, but local police failed to regard her as a missing person because she had gone missing before. Then, on October 16th, her family and tribe members found Misty's body at the bottom of a cliff.
Misty had lived through many challenges and traumas in her short life. As a result, she suffered from depression and PTSD. No one knows if her death was an accident or foul play, but what we do know is that Misty is not alone. In 2019, more than 5,590 Native American women were reported missing, with many believed to have been murdered.
Isaac Hayes
Sometime-sampled, Southern soul singer, songwriter, Shaft score-scribe, Scientologist, and South Park's chocolate-salty-balled Chef, Isaac Hayes, died in slightly surreal surroundings days before his 66th birthday. On August 10th, 2008, three family members found Isaac lying unresponsive on the floor in his Memphis, Tennessee, home. The weird thing was, Hayes had suffered a stroke a couple of years before, so why was he found lying next to a still-operating treadmill?
An ambulance transported Isaac to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death was not immediately clear, but medical examiners later said he had suffered another stroke.
David Bowie
David Bowie died peacefully at his home on January 10th, 2016, following an 18-month battle with liver cancer. He was 69, which wasn't a ripe old age nor exceptionally young. But his death was still genuinely shocking. Perhaps his many devoted fans believed Ziggy Stardust was a genuine, otherworldly rock god and immortal. Instead, he released his last album, Blackstar, two days before becoming a Star Man waiting in the sky.
Not long before his death, Bowie's wife, ex-supermodel Iman, posted a rather telling quote on social media: "Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
Paul Walker
The Fast and the Furious fans went into shock in November 2013 when Paul Walker's life was cut tragically short. The hunky heartthrob and his friend/business advisor, Roger Rodas, had just attended a charity event and decided to take the latter's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT for a spin around Santa Clarita, California. The vehicle crashed into a concrete lamp post and two trees, bursting into flames and killing both men.
Rodas died upon impact, while Walker died from the combined effects of trauma and burns. Both their bodies were burned beyond recognition. Had they been trying to emulate Tokyo Drift on a curve well-known for drifting cars?
Steve Irwin
Australian zookeeper, TV personality, wildlife expert, conservationist, and environmentalist, Steve Irwin––aka The Crocodile Hunter––died unexpectedly in September 2006. He had been filming a documentary in Australia's Great Barrier Reef when his heart was pierced by the poisonous spine of a stingray. The beloved Aussie star was filmed removing the deadly barb before he lost consciousness and died. He was 44 years old. Ironically, the show he was recording was called Ocean's Deadliest.
If the stingray's barb had hit any other part of his body, he would probably have lived, but Steve always did have a big heart. His son, Robert, and daughter Bindi are doing a great job following in their father's footsteps.
Philip Seymour Hoffman
With roles as diverse as Twister, Mi3, Charlie Wilson's War, and Synecdoche, New York, Philip Seymour Hoffman was one the finest actors of his generation. He had struggled with drug addiction since he was a young adult, but in 2013––after 23 years of abstinence––he relapsed and had to check himself into rehab. Friends stated that Hoffman's drug use was under control at the time, but they couldn't have been more wrong.
The 46-year-old Oscar-winner was found dead with a syringe in his arm in his Manhattan apartment in February 2014. Philip left behind his longtime partner, Mimi O'Donnell, a son, and two daughters.
Anton Yelchin
Anton Yelchin was a Russian-American actor most famous for portraying the young Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation and Pavel Chekov in J.J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek reboot. At the height of his fame, he was killed in a freak accident when his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled down his driveway, pinning him to a brick pillar gate post. He died from "blunt traumatic asphyxia," and the LA County Coroner's office stated there were "no obvious suspicious circumstances."
The up-and-coming actor was just 27-years-old when he died. Like so many other talented musicians and actors from the unenviable 27 Club, Anton was beamed up years before he should have been.
Chyna
Joan Marie Laurer, aka Chyna, was a wrestler, bodybuilder, pornographic actress, model, and TV personality who first took the WWE by storm way back in the nineties. But in 2016, after a long and successful career, the 46-year-old was found dead by her manager Anthony Anzaldo at her Redondo Beach, California home. Her autopsy revealed she had died from an overdose of an extensive list of substances. But why had she taken her own life?
One theory is that her wrestling days had led to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which is known to cause mental health and behavioral issues, including depression, anxiety, impulsivity, aggression, and violence. Her brain had been donated to study the effects of CTE but was too badly decomposed to yield results.
Jill Dando
If you haven't heard of Jill Dando, she was a popular British journalist, newsreader, and TV personality, most famous for hosting Crimewatch UK. On the morning of April 26th, 1999, an unknown gunman approached her and shot her once in the head. A year later, police arrested Freddie Mercury-obsessed Barry George. He lived half a mile from Jill's house and had a history of stalking women.
Barry George was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment, but his third appeal quashed the conviction, and he was acquitted and freed in 2008. However, the case remains unsolved, and Scotland Yard has identified over 2,000 potential suspects, including disgruntled criminal 'Crimestoppers' viewers, Serbian warlord Arkan, and leaders of an alleged BBC conspiracy ring. Legend says Jill had spoken out against them all.
