Accidental comedy moments are bound to happen every day, all we have to do is notice them. And thankfully, the people on this list were definitely with their eyes out, because they managed to capture some of the funniest unpredictable moments we’ve ever seen. From weather forecasts gone wrong to failed panorama photos, take a look at the funniest collection of unintentionally perfectly captured photos on the internet.
A Quiz That Was Accidentally Right
Well, it’s both hilarious and sad how many of us will relate to this photo. What can we say, adulting is hard, and when this person tried to take a quiz about their personality by answering 60 questions, they weren’t surprised to read a response that said “catastrophic failure."
Obviously, something happened to the website or the internet connection, leading the website to crash. But it has to be fate that the words “catastrophic failure” would be the ones popping up after they completed the quiz.
Even Netflix Makes Mistakes
If you are an avid internet user, then you might have seen a meme with this hilarious Netflix fail being sent around. If not, this is a great reminder that even one of the biggest series and movie platforms in the world is bound to make hilarious mistakes like this one. We're sure even Marie Kondo would approve of how much joy this photo sparks.
Obviously, the picture that was added to promote Marie Kondo's Tidying Up series was a glitch in the system, and people just couldn't handle how funny the mistake was. From any other picture that could have been mistakenly added, this one probably wins the cake.
God Is Not That Into You
This is one of those moments where an unfortunate coincidence ended up becoming a recurring joke in this book store. Someone had the brilliant idea of placing the book "God Is Not Mad at You" right next to the famous book turned movie, "He's just not that into you." Now, we don't know about you, but the hilarious coincidence sure does send us some sort of sign we simply cannot overlook.
What the sign is? We don't know. But there is no way that this unplanned coincidence didn't come with a hidden message that we should decipher.
He Can Swim, But Can He Funk?
We love it when a good play of words accidentally happens, and the one that happened to this Canadian swimmer couldn't have been more fitting. Richard here has arguably one of the coolest surnames out there, and that probably results in some hilarious moments. In this case, his name was placed next to the Canadian flag and the country's initials "Can," and hilarity ensued right then and there.
When his name was placed next to it, it ended up reading "Can Richard Funk?" Now, we clearly know that he's an impeccable swimmer, but does he have some funky moves up his sleeve?
An iSmart Charger That Was Placed Upside Down
Even for us readers, it might take a second or two to understand what is happening here, when you do though, it's the funniest thing ever. Apparently, someone placed an iSmart charger upside down, and people kept getting confused when they read a brand called "+Jews." We can't blame them—this does look slightly suspicious. What could possibly make someone name their product "+Jews?"
This guy's friend bought one of the famous chargers, and she simply couldn't understand the logic behind the brand name, until she finally realized that the charger was upside down. Thankfully, the misunderstanding ended up just being funny.
When Subway Tells You To Go To The Restaurant Nextdoor
For real, some coincidences have to have some truth in them, otherwise, how is it possible that they come out as perfect as this one? This Subway branch added their slogan in the front of the restaurant, reading "eat fresh" and it looked pretty fine, until you looked a little closer.
Apparently, they totally missed the fact that a restaurant called "Fresh" was standing there right next to them. So in the end, it looked like Subway was telling its customers to head to the restaurant next door if they wanted to eat some fresh food.
The Most Beautiful Wedding Dress
This person was just taking a touristy photo, and it took her a while to realize that the background was an unintentional perfectly captured moment. A couple was passing by in the background, when the guy's angle blended with the water fountain, making it seem like he was wearing a wedding dress.
The angle laterally makes it seem like he is wearing one, and clearly rocking it from what we see. We're guessing that he would definitely approve it if he saw the wonderful photo that came out.
The Domino Effect In Real Life
Well, if this is not some sort of karma then we don't know what is. These Domino's bikes were just minding their own business when a random bike was placed next to them. Unfortunately, the bike wasn't placed so well, and it ended falling on one of Domino's bikes, taking the entire thing down with it.
Of course, people couldn't ignore the fact that the little accident resembled the name of the pizza chain way too accurately! So instead of putting them back up, they just kept taking photos of the incident.
"LOL, You're Drowning"
If you're a fan of dark humor, then this failed sign is probably one of the best things you've seen in a while. Whoever designed it probably didn't realize that the sign they made resembled the word "lol," which couldn't be more out of place next to the warning of someone drowning.
When we read it, it sounds like we should first laugh out loud if we see someone drowning, and then we should call 911. Good thing we know that that's not really what they meant, and that we should just call 911 right away.
The Coincidence Is Too Good
We have no idea if this guy actually knew that what he was writing could have a very naughty meaning, but if he didn't then this tweet is simply brilliant. There's a whole lot of pounding, inches, and words that when put together, the dirty mind will not succeed in keeping out the dirty thoughts.
We are guessing that right after sharing the hilarious tweet he deleted it because we can only imagine the funny comments people added on the thread. Of course, though, someone took a screenshot of it, and those who have seen it will never be able to unsee it.
Well, That Escalated Quickly
We have no idea if this was just a hilarious coincidence, or these videos actually refer to the same puffin. Apparently, on one of his food excursions, Gordon Ramsay was bitten by a puffin on the nose. He survived, clearly, and according to the subsequent video, it seems like he grabbed puffin and gave it a terrible fate.
The title suggests that he cooked it and then ate it. We bet that that was an escalation that no one was really ready for, but it's undeniable that the coincidence is too funny. Poor puffin!
This Dad's Failed Attempt To Tell His Daughter About Disney
This dad finally managed to get tickets to Disney World, and he couldn't wait to tell his daughter, who he knew would get super excited. So instead of just informing her, he decided to make things a little bit fun.
Little did he know that she would get stuck on the funniest play of words, and wouldn't even be close to understanding that she was about to go to Disney World. Her sibling hilariously shared the result of the little game, which ended up with the words "we're all going to die."
You Deserve That Pain
There is no way that people don't notice the brilliant phrases they are putting together! Here's another unfortunate coincidence, that ended up coming out as the most hilarious advertisement ever. While one of these pamphlets asks the customer if they have "got pain," the little card placed in front of it literally says "you deserve it."
Now, we don't think this was done on purpose, but if it was, then this person might be trying to tell us all something that we deserved to hear.
Not The Safest City For Birds
This sign introducing people to Elk city was probably placed in the worst possible place in the city. The sign refers to the fact that Elk city is a wonderful place for birds, with a respectful bird sanctuary. Now, that's not exactly what we read when we see a KFC sign right next to it, because we all know what those yummy KFC meals are made of.
In the end, the unfortunate coincidence was hilarious, and we just hope that everyone who sees it gives the good laugh it deserves.
The Winner Of This Bake Off Won't Be Happy
Yet again, we are presented with some pretty dark humor with what this person read in the news on just a regular day. While one of the titles and the side-by-side picture showed a happy family holding a cake, and read "and the winner of the Bake Off is...," the news below was just too grim to even be mentioned here.
Of course, this person took it like a good sport and screenshotted it to share the hilarious coincidence with their family and friends online.
You Can Help Expand Mount Everest's List Of Climbers
This has to be one of the funniest mistakes Wikipedia has ever made! The title of the page reads "list of people who died climbing Mount Everest." Now, that is obviously a really horrible thing to read. But when you continue reading and you realize that they also wrote that the list is incomplete and that the reader can help "expand it," there is no way that you wouldn't have a good laugh.
What are the chances that Wikipedia would invite you to join the list of climbers who have sadly left us while climbing Mount Everest?
She Is Definitely A Keeper
This Reddit user was wondering how people knew that someone was "the one," and they seemed pretty serious about it. Of course, people in the comment section began flooding it with their love stories and their disappointments, in ways that many people can relate to. But this person had a brilliant response.
The adorable pup was "the one" for them, and they couldn't help but share one of the goofiest photos of the little cutie. Of course, no one could resist or deny that that was the perfect partner out there.
When The Surname Has A Double Meaning
Well, this was an ill-fated coincidence. And though it is connected to a really sad situation, we can't help but bring up the irony. This couple's surname is Spanks, so naturally, their surname is written a few times on this grave.
Sadly, the place of words wasn't well thought of, as one literally reads: "Arthus Spanks His Wife Katherine." Hopefully, whenever the family sees this they just have a good laugh and move on instead of adding even more pain to their feelings.
The Best Ad Placement Ever
You'd think that advertisement companies have enough intel to know where the right spot to place an ad is, but clearly, this company totally failed at it. So, whoever decided to look up the word "anatidaephobia" was surprised with the best possible ad.
For those who are not familiar with the word, according to the picture, anatidaephobia is "the fear that you are being watched by a duck." So of course, what better place for an ad about a random company with a huge duck drawing on it?
You Don't Want To Mess With Serena
This type of headline placement makes us wonder if the person behind them knows exactly what they're doing, or they are completely oblivious to the way the headlines speak to each other. On the CNN website, the first headline read "S.Korea: North fires projectiles," which is probably a very concerning headline for anyone.
But as you keep reading, you get to the next set of news with a headline that says: "Serena Williams fires back." If we didn't know who Serena Williams is, we'd think that she has literally taken things into her own hands with S.Korea.
A Play With Words
We're pretty sure that this restaurant didn't plan to have two different letters of their sign turned off, but in the end, the unfortunate misfunction resulted in this hilarious picture. Now, people interpret it in different ways. First of all, it could simply mean "IV Guys," related to some sort of medical place where you can either get or purchase an IV.
But then, the IV could simply be related to roman numbers, which instead of "Five Guys," would change the name of the restaurant to "Four Guys."
Google Maps Was Really Excited About This One
When this girl arrived at a place called Yass, she had to open her google maps app to understand where she was and what path she needed to take to her final destination. But once she opened google maps, it looked like the application was really excited about literally every single place in this town due to its name.
Hilariously, the app had places written as "McDonald's Yass," or "Domino's Pizza Yass," and the list goes on. Whoever lives in this town most probably has to have the biggest sense of humor.
When The Camouflage Level Is Too High
Okay, it's absolutely impossible to read this announcement without giving out a huge laugh. Apparently, someone most definitely deserves a promotion in the Australian army because they did their job so well that things escalated to a level out of control.
The person had the job of painting a vehicle worth $74,000 with camouflage paint, but they did the job so well that not even the army is able to identify it. Things got so complicated that the police didn't see another option but to seek the public's help to find it.
When Your Phone Doesn't Want You To Live
Here's another case where you'd think that technology was at a level where a funny mistake like this one simply wouldn't take place. But that's not the case, because Pokemon Go thought it was the perfect time to "step outside for a bit" after staying indoors the whole day.
But at the same time this person got the suggestion, an emergency alert came through with a tornado warning that would last until 11:00 AM that day. And that's not all. While the emergency alert said: "take shelter now," Pokemon Go was like "Go outside."
When It's Too Late To Save Kanye From Kanye
We all probably remember the infamous moment when Kanye met with Donald Trump, and took this picture that completely took over the internet. What many people didn't notice though was that one guy in the background seems to have come with a mission, but he was too late.
His expression literally makes it look like he just traveled all the way from the future to prevent Kanye from doing something that would really not be taken well by the public. Clearly, though, he was too late, and the incident resulted in this unforgettable picture.
A Controversial Mr. Rogers Ad
Back in the day, Mr. Rogers was a well-known TV host, producer, author, and Presbyterian minister. He was the famous host of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which was on air between the late '60s and 2001. Unfortunately, though, it seems like the person responsible for this Mr.Rogers ad was either really distracted, or they wanted to make things spicy with some controversy.
With this ad, it looks like Mr. Rogers' arm extends all the way to the left, creating an illusion that he's the one holding the gun in the other ad.
Perfectly Placed Eyes
It's not always that an innocent cat will know exactly where to place their beautiful pair of eyes. This cat seems to have had analyzed the situation, figuring out exactly where the right place to put its tiny eyes was. The box clearly has a hole where the eyes of the woman in the picture were supposed to be, so why not add kitty eyes instead?
Obviously, when this person saw the perfectly timed moment, they had to take a picture of it to share it online.
Two Phrases That Should Not Be Next To Each Other
We're not sure whether to laugh or cry about this one, because the coincidence is just too unusual. What are the chances that one will put up a sign that says "Deep Fried" just above another one that says "Lost Children," or vice-versa?
Obviously, whoever reads it probably has a hard time separating both phrases, resulting in a pretty disturbing scenario. Hopefully, people will be able to appreciate the coincidence, shake it off, and just laugh about it. Because seriously, what are the chances?
A Very Fitting Phrase For Such A Sad Moment
Well, there couldn't be a better way for this cup to break itself than this! Sadly, it looks like a really cool mug was completely broken into pieces, but one specific piece survived and the sentence in it was simply perfect for the situation. The little piece came with a cute drawing and the phrase "Oh, no."
At least this person gets to save that part and to remember how once, a mug broke in the most perfect way possible. Maybe they got to return this one and get a new one, who knows!
A Tweet Straight Out Of The Terminator Movie
Terminator fans will probably love this one because the coincidence is simply too good to be true. A woman called Sarah O'Connor shared a tweet about a robot that sadly killed a worker in a VW plant in Germany. While she thought that she had just shared an innocent tweet, Terminator fans couldn't ignore the content of the tweet in relation to her name.
The resemblance between the author of the tweet and The Terminator's Sarah Connor was too good to be ignored, and even she had to admit it in the end.
The Tape Is Indeed Invisible
In supermarkets, there is usually someone (or many people) responsible for replacing a product once it's finished. It seems like this customer caught the moment that these invisible tapes were finished, and no one had replaced the box yet. That resulted in this hilarious picture, with 87 cents priced for what really does seem to be an "invisible tape."
We only wonder if other customers will get the joke once they pass by the shelf, or they actually put some time into looking for the so-called "invisible tapes."
An Unexpected Cookie Monster
You know those people who aren't able to have any cabinet doors in the house open because they are afraid of monsters? Well, we don't blame them, because when things like this happen we are reminded that you never know what's in there!
Somehow, this person managed to create their own cookie monster without even trying for a second, and they only realized it minutes after. Just imagine passing by the kitchen when the house is all dark, and seeing this cookie monster staring directly at you?
Hang In There, Folks!
Well, here goes another incredibly unfortunate decision someone made. From every single option they had, we wonder how the choice to have a cross, with three family members hanging and holding each other's hands was the winner?
Thankfully, most people will get the humor in the little fail and will simply move on with their lives. We're pretty sure whoever created this sign had the best intentions behind them, the result just ended up coming a little bit interesting.
A Very Scary "Are You There"
You know when you're binging on a show for so many hours that your TV eventually finds the need to ask if you're still there? Well, this happened to this person who was enjoying a marathon of The Office, to the point where the show stopped, and that guilty message came up just to remind them that they were binging for quite a while now.
But the coolest thing was that when the message appeared, the show stopped exactly at the moment that Michael Scott from the office looked straight at the camera, making it seem like he was the one asking if this person was still there.
What Are The Chances?
Seriously, what are the chances that this CEO's name is so fitting to the name of this company/non-profit? Someone couldn't believe it when they browsed the staff page of this website, and they realized that the CEO's name was Robin "Mahfood."
While we can understand that coincidences happen, the guy's last name sounds like he was ready to show everyone that he was really the CEO of the company, by claiming that the whole thing was "his food." We bet that the whole thing is a reason for regular jokes at work.
Which Way To Go?
This museum either purposely or accidentally placed these two paintings next to each other and the result was not only hysterical but also really confusing. As this person browsed through the famous paintings, they eventually reached these two, one with a man that confidently pointed towards the right side, and one with a man who even more confidently pointed towards the left.
As a matter of fact, one guy seems to be looking at the other while consciously disagreeing with the side he is pointing at.
Another Famous Quote By Shakespeare
Yet again, another case of an internet error that ended up creating an unforgettable fail, and we're living for it! This is indeed a phrase that we hear and read so much, that one wouldn't doubt that it's a Shakespeare quote.
Someone in the comments of this Reddit thread said something brilliant that we just have to share. In the middle of laughing about the hilarious Shakespeare situation, the person asked "To connect, or not to connect, that is the question?" May all of us take this quote with us every time our internet connection fails us.
This Guy With Eyes On The Back Of His Head
During a flight, this person felt extremely uncomfortable every time they looked at a guy sitting in the front rows, who looked like he was staring at them for the longest time. It took them forever to realize that the guy had simply placed his sunglasses backward, and because he didn't have much hair, the action actually did create the illusion that his eyes could be on the back of his head.
Thankfully, they eventually realized it and couldn't help but snap a picture so they could remember the hilariously uncomfortable moment.
Not The Greatest Basketball Moment
Getting front row at a high-level NBA game is probably one of the hardest and most expensive things. So when this guy scored his place he was ecstatic, as he would be able to see the entire game really closely, noticing every detail of every single move.
But what he wasn't expecting was to witness this weird moment in the middle of the game, when a guy from the same team bumped into their teammate. The moment was really unfortunate, and we can see by the expression on his face that he was very surprised.
Finding Out If Natural Selection Is Real
We have no idea what went inside this person's head when they decided that it would be a good idea to crack open a snow globe, pour the contents into a glass, and then drink it. If that wasn't enough, they decided to share their little experiment with their internet friends, who clearly had very mixed feelings about the entire thing.
One person in specific disguised as Charles Darwin, made the funniest comment when they asked "is natural selection real? follow me to find out - it's the key to survive as a species."
Someone Needs To Tell Them The Truth
Now, we feel a little bit guilty for laughing about this one but it's simply too good to let it pass by. This place thought it was a great idea to incentivize kids to listen to their moms, and to go to bed during bedtime, by referring to the fact that even superheroes do this on a daily basis.
However, the reference to Batman listening to his mom more is an unfortunate one, since we all know that Batman's mom wasn't really around while he was growing up due to her sad fate.
Two Shades Of Gary
Something about the combination of the hat with this guy's face makes this entire situation even funnier than it actually is. This place is selling two different hats, one dark and one light grey, and they primarily sold them online, so they needed to figure out the best way to advertise them.
They made the decision to get a model to display both of them, and we're not sure whether the hat model is called Gary or if that's the guy's name, but the choice to place these two photos next to another and calling them "Dark Gary" and "Light Gary" was either brilliant or a lucky accident.
At The Wrong Place, At The Wrong Time
These two officers were just taking a break and enjoying their break at a local diner called "Two Little Pigs." Unfortunately for them, someone noticed that the combination of the unusual name with the two men sitting by the window was too good to be ignored.
So they snapped a picture and even managed to get the moment one of the officers noticed the camera. In the end, it looks like the name of the establishment is referring to the two men sitting by the window, which was just an unlucky coincidence.
A Stool Bus Driving Behind A School Bus
While on the road, this person noticed something extremely unusual in front of them. They realized that a huge yellow school bus was driving in front of a stool bus, which was as yellow and as big as the bus in front. Now, while both vehicles are important, they couldn't attend to more different purposes.
While the school bus drives students back and forth, the stool bus ensures that our pumping problems are taken care of. The coincidence just looks too good to be true.
Netflix Should Definitely Be Concerned
This person noticed another brilliant coincidence in the news, almost as if these two sources worked together to create titles that really spoke to each other. While the source on the top pointed towards the fact that Netflix should be concerned about its users, probably because of how much they binge-watch through the platform, Business Insider UK had some more insight about this topic.
Their headline mentioned (with concern) that someone out there watched Bee Movie a whopping 357 times during the year, according to the streaming platform. Now if that's not concerning, we don't know what is.
This Guy Should Probably Keep These T-Shirts To Himself
This guy, whose surname is White, decided to auto-generate some creative phrases for a T-shirt and he clearly didn't expect to get such interesting suggestions. Amongst other things, his surname turned out to be the perfect recipe for some pretty offensive T-shirts that would most probably not be taken well in the streets.
He found it so funny though, that he had to share it online so that people could have a good laugh like he did. No one in the comments section could ignore how funny and cringe-worthy the whole thing was.
This Guy Who Failed At Taking Panorama Photos Of His Dog
Dog owners will probably admit that their camera roll is probably filled with cute and random photos of their dogs. This guy is no exception, however, he tried to play around with things a little bit and to get creative with snapping a shot of his dog.
So he turned on the panorama mode and began taking a bunch of pictures, only his dog wouldn't stop moving. He ended up giving up on getting the perfect shot because the results kept on coming in the most disastrous way possible.
When You Have Your Priorities Right
If you love a good cheesecake, then these side-by-side news headlines will most definitely speak to you. The New York Post and Newsday published two completely different articles on the same day, but both of them mentioned the Cheesecake Factory. They were somehow placed next to each other and the coincidence was just too good.
While one of them referred to how customers could get a slice of free cheesecake from the iconic place, the other article referred to a young woman who didn't wait for no deal, and simply took a whole cheesecake from the factory during a riot.
How Pop-Ups Made The Web Unreadable
This is just one of those occurrences that happen by chance, that seems to have been meant to be. This person was ironically reading about how the web became unreadable when a huge pop-up came up. Funny enough, the pop-up was so long that it made an article about "how the web is unreadable" completely unreadable.
Coincidences like this seriously make us believe in fate, and now we know that the web has indeed become unreadable and pop-ups like this one certainly don't help.
Ads That Should Not Be Placed Next To One Another
Whoever gave the final approval for this magazine to be published probably didn't notice that this page had the weirdest and funniest advertisements placed next to one another. While the ad on the right side showed a woman sitting down and laughing with what looks like a child, the ad on the left side referred to a post-work-out power move that seems to have something to do with a smoothie.
Unfortunately, the placement of both pictures resulted in this, and we're pretty sure that wasn't planned.
