Do you prefer Modern Day Disney Princesses or the Classics?
Most people grow up watching these classic Disney films and imagine what it would be like to be one of these princesses. Although part of the fun is picturing your life as a princess in a long-gone era, there is something exciting as well about these Disney princesses in modern day art. They reimagine the Disney princesses and make them more realistic and more accessible. Someone may have always dreamed of being Moana after watching the film, but seeing a modern day surfer Moana makes it actually seem possible. On the one hand it makes it harder to choose which Disney princess you would want to be the most and on the other it makes it easier.
With the modern Disney princess art instead of dreaming to be like one of the Disney princesses, it is more fun to think of which princess you relate to the most and which ones you friends relate to the most. Are you a “girl-boss” Mulan or are you a “couple goals” Ariel? Are you friends more of a Parisian, book-loving traveler like Belle or a beach-lover like Jane and Tarzan? The couples in particular seem much more realistic when they are presented as modern day Disney Princesses. So, what’ll it be? Do you like the traditional Disney princesses or the modern day recreations? Which one do you relate to more?
